Since
it’s launch on 23rd January 2000, The World Famous Oldham
Athletic featured a Goals section, which contained downloadable video
clips. In season 2001-2002 the official site began to offer free video
clips too, though my site would frequently contain the goals before the
official site and indeed in better quality.
With
the advent of the Latics World service available through the official site
I can no longer offer free video clips, continuing to do so would
potentially be depriving the club of vital revenue, whereby some fans may
choose to download my videos for free rather than subscribing.
It
is with sadness that I take this measure as I have enjoyed providing goal
clips and I would like to take this opportunity to say thankyou for the
many emails I have received regarding my content.
I
feel that as a Latics fan I should give Latics World my full backing, if
it fulfills it’s potential then we will have an exciting and informative
service. So, in closing, I would urge
anyone that wants access to videos, live match radio, news, features and
much more to subscribe to the service.

World Famous Oldham Athletic will continue to exist and I am currently
re-assessing in which direction I should take it.
